Michigan has been in contact with several players in the transfer portal and another player the Wolverines have been in contact with has came to light on Saturday.

Texas A&M offensive lineman Chase Bisontis entered the transfer portal on Dec. 6 and there has been plenty of interest in the one-year college player since he entered.

Hayes Fawcett reported Michigan is just one of the teams to reach out to the former Texas A&M offensive lineman. 26 teams in total have been in contact with Bisontis.

Bisontis was in Texas A&M's 2023 recruiting class and he came in as a four-star recruit and the 46th-ranked player in the nation according to 247Sports.

After one season in College Station, Bisonis is the No. 8 ranked player in the transfer portal and the top-ranked OT, according to 247Sports. Bisontis hails from Ramsey (NJ) Don Bosco Prep.

The 6-foot-6, 320-pound offensive tackle had a solid freshman season at Texas A&M. He started all 12 games at RT for the Aggies. He did allow four sacks in his first season playing in college, but according to PFF, he had a respectable 63.3 run-blocking grade in 2023.

Michigan will more than likely lose Drake Nugent, Karsen Barnhart, Zak Zinter, and Trevor Keegan from the starting offensive line. The Wolverines may also lose LaDarius Henderson, Myles Hinton, and Trente Jones as well.

The Wolverines will be looking to bring in a few players to re-configure their elite offensive line.
