Speedy 2026 ATH Brandon Arrington ‘Excited’ By Michigan Offer
Earlier this week, the Michigan coaching staff made inroads with a speedy athlete from the west coast in 2026 Spring Valley (Calif.) Mount Miguel four-star Brandon Arrington, extending a scholarship to the 6-3, 180-pounder on Tuesday.
“I was excited because they just won a national championship,” Arrington told Wolverine Digest. “So, that’s a big accomplishment to get that offer because they just won a championship.”
The Wolverines are far from the only major school interested in the standout two-way player, though, and Arrington holds offers from the likes of Notre Dame, Alabama, Oregon and many others. But with so many schools in pursuit, Arrington needs to complete his due diligence on each of his potential destinations, including Michigan.
“I know a little bit about the history, but I don’t know much about the program now,” Arrington said. “I know the coach just left, so I’m trying to learn more.”

As Arrington alluded to, new head coach Sherrone Moore will be looking to add talented playmakers like Arrington to the program, and in doing so the two are working to build a stronger relationship when they can.
“It’s been going great,” Arrington said. “They’ve been hitting my line, talking to my coach and my family. Just trying to connect and stuff like that.”
At this stage, that’s about all Michigan can do with Arrington on the west coast during the middle of the school year and his track and field season. However, once the summer rolls around, Arrington is optimistic about visiting a lot of schools with U-M chiefly among the list.
“I’m most likely going to, in the summer, that’s when I’m actually available because of track and stuff,” Arrington said. So, that’s when I’m going to get out to some schools. I’m going to for sure try to go up to Michigan.”
In the meantime, it’s track season for the highly coveted cornerback and wide receiver, and the Michigan target boasts a blazing personal record of 10.4 seconds in the 100-meter dash. Arrington also competes in the open 200-meter dash and the 4x100-meter relay for Mount Miguel.
Currently, Arrington is ranked as the No. 15 athlete in the nation, checking in at the No. 128 slot overall. Last season, Arrington posted 14 receptions for 426 yards and six touchdowns on offense, then he added 18 solo tackles and seven pass deflections from the secondary.
