The Florida Gators are hard at working trying to flip one of two commitments in Michigan's 2026 recruiting class. According to Rivals' Adam Gorney, Florida head coach Billy Napier plans to visit Michigan four-star safety (and commit) Brody Jennings' school on Monday. Jennings, a 6-1, 175 pound Florida native committed to Michigan back in July, but it's clear that his recruitment is far from over. Jennings took a visit to Florida over the weekend and reportedly enjoyed that visit.

With Napier and Florida working overtime to keep the four-star prospect home, Michigan's staff will need to make sure they make Jennings a priority if they hope to bring him to Ann Arbor.

As of this writing, Jennings holds offers from 24 programs around the country - including Georgia, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, and Michigan.

The good news for Michigan is that we now know the Wolverines are fully capable of competing with anyone on the recruiting trail, particularly with a renewed focus on NIL. The recruitment of five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood completely changed the outlook on Michigan and what the Wolverines can do on the recruiting trail, with elite prospects from all across the country taking notice. If Jennings is a high priority for Michigan in 2026, they'll be tough to beat - even for an in-state program like Florida.
