Sherrone Moore Also Suspended

Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh will miss the first three games of the season and now his offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore will also miss some action.
In this story:

Michigan football is really, really good, but its first three games are going to be a bit strange. Jim Harbaugh is suspended for all three, and offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore, who will be the interim head coach for game No. 3 against Bowling Green, will be suspended for the season opener. Moore has been suspended by the University of Michigan for his role in the NCAA violations committed by the program. Like Harbaugh, Moore will be allowed to coach during the week and around the football buildings, but will not be present on the sideline during game day.

Moore is one of the young, fast risers in the college football world of coaching so this development isn't exactly ideal for him, but in the grand scheme of his career and Michigan's season, it's a minor blip. The Wolverines will almost certainly race out to a 3-0 record over ECU, UNLV and Bowling Green before the coaching staff returns to full strength for the Big Ten opener against Rutgers in Ann Arbor on Sept. 23.
