Michigan Football One Of Nations Most Watched Programs In 2022

The Michigan Football brand is as strong as it has ever been, and the television ratings seem to back that up.

There's no denying the power of the Michigan Football program, particularly when it comes to national relevance and interest. In fact, Michigan's dominant win over Ohio State was the highest viewed game of the 2022 regular season - bringing in a whopping 17.14 million viewers.

The Wolverines actually held two spots in the top-five, with the Big Ten Championship game coming in at No. 5 with 10.7 million viewers.

1. Michigan vs. Ohio State - 17.14 million
2. Georgia vs Tennessee - 13.06 million
3. Tennessee vs Alabama - 11.56 million
4. Georgia vs LSU - 10.89 million
5. Michigan vs Purdue - 10.7 million
6. Alabama vs Texas - 10.6 million
7. Ohio State vs Notre Dame - 10.53 million
8. Kansas State vs TCU - 9.71 million
9. Alabama vs Ole Miss - 8.71 million
10. Ohio State vs Penn State - 8.27 million 

It should be more of the same when it comes to viewership for the Wolverines in 2023. They'll likely enter the upcoming season ranked within the Top-3, and have big time road meetings with Nebraska, Michigan State, and Penn State. Of course, The Game between Michigan and Ohio State - this time in Ann Arbor - will likely once again decide the winner of the Big Ten East division and ultimately the Big Ten Champion.
