Video & Analysis: Aidan Hutchinson On His Own Growth And Development

Aidan Hutchinson has come a long way since arriving at Michigan.

Sophomore defensive end Aidan Hutchinson got his first ever action as a Michigan Wolverine against Notre Dame last year in the season opener and he hasn't looked back since. What he has done is add about 20 pounds of muscle, learn more skills as a pass rusher and become one of Michigan's most consistent players on defense.

The 6-6, 278-pounder has recorded 51 tackles including 7.5 for loss and 2.5 sacks during his sophomore campaign and rarely comes off the field. His size, strength and overall athleticism already has him looking like a lock for the NFL.

Brown's Breakdown

Even though he is a younger player, Hutchinson has a lot of natural leadership abilities. Some of that obviously stems from being the son of Chris Hutchinson, a former All-American defensive tackle at Michigan, and some of it comes from his early success.

Hutchinson has already been talked about by some of the coaches as a three-year player at Michigan meaning that he could and should be an early entrant for the NFL draft after his true junior season. We're still a long way from that, but Hutchinson is definitely ascending toward that kind of future.

How would you grade Hutchinson's sophomore season? What do you think the future holds for him at Michigan and beyond? Comment below!!!
