There were some notable matchups within the Big Ten conference on Saturday, but most of the top teams escaped without an upset.

The top team in the Big Ten conference was idle on Saturday, as the No. 2 Michigan Wolverines enjoyed a bye week before what will be the toughest part of their 2023 regular season schedule. No. 3 Ohio State took care of business on the road against Wisconsin, while Penn State narrowly escaped a major upset loss to Indiana in Happy Valley.
