Michigan Football: Charles Woodson Makes Appearance At Massive Recruiting Event

The undisputed GOAT of Michigan Football was a special guest at this weekend's BBQ at the Big House recruiting event in Ann Arbor.

Michigan Football's biggest recruiting event of the year took place over the weekend, as dozens of recruits flocked to Ann Arbor for the annual BBQ in the Big House. Although the event welcomed a number of 2024 commits and targets in the 2025 class and beyond, one of the biggest names to show up was none other than the GOAT himself - Charles Woodson.

Woodson, who is one of three Heisman trophy winners at the University of Michigan and the only primarily defensive player to win the coveted trophy in college football history, spent the weekend rubbing elbows with current commitments and recruits.

Here's a look at some of the commitments that were expected to be in attendance over the weekend:

  • Charlotte (NC) four-star QB Jadyn Davis - No. 60 overall, No. 6 QB
  • Cincinnati (OH) four-star RB Jordan Marshall - No. 72 overall, No. 6 RB
  • Belleville (MI) four-star LB Jeremiah Beasley - No. 332 overall, No. 26 LB

  • Charlotte (NC) four-star LB Jaden Smith - No. 265 overall, No. 21 ATH
  • Chicago (IL) four-star WR I’Marion Stewart - No. 308 overall, No. 46 WR

In addition to a whole host of 2024 committed players in attendance, the Wolverines welcomed five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood. The local prospect out of Belleville (MI) is considered the No. 1 quarterback nationally in the 2025 class and, according to some analysts, he could end up being the best quarterback prospect to ever come out of high school.
