Five-Star Michigan QB Commit Trying To Bring Teammates To Ann Arbor
The month of March was a good one for the Michigan Wolverines on the recruiting trail. Not only did Harbaugh and Co. land the top running back prospect from the state of Ohio when Jordan Marshall committed, they also landed one of the top quarterbacks in the nation with the commitment of Jadyn Davis.
Davis is obviously a huge get for Michigan, but he's also going to be an incredible asset on the recruiting trail as well. In fact, the five-star prospect is now trying to recruit two of his high school teammates - both wide receivers in the 2024 class, both with offers from Michigan - to join him in Ann Arbor.
Both Jordan Shipp and Channing Goodwin are listed as four-star wide receiver prospects by various recruiting services, and both are teammates of Davis at Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day School. Shipp, at 6-2, 195 pounds, is listed as the No. 12 overall prospect in the state of North Carolina. Goodwin, at 6-1, 165 pounds, is listed as the No. 7 over prospect in the state of North Carolina.
According to 247 Sports, the Wolverines now sit in the No. 3 spot in the 2024 recruiting rankings, trailing only LSU and Georgia.
