Michigan Football: Analyst Thinks The Time Is Now For Wolverines To Win It All

The list of individuals who think the 2023 season represents Michigan's best shot at winning a national championship is growing.

The list of individuals who think the 2023 season represents Michigan's best shot at winning a national championship is growing. On Wednesday, FOX Sports analyst Bruce Feldman said that Michigan is the most intriguing program in the county - and thinks the time is now to capitalize.

"This is a really strong team on both sides of the ball with a lot of veteran leadership, fronted by a bunch of dudes - particularly Corum, Zinter, Keegan, Barrett and Sainristil, all of whom are deeply invested in what sparked Michigan's transformation," wrote Feldman.

"Beyond the Big Ten, the other superpowers of the sport, Georgia and Alabama, are replacing multiyear starters at quarterback and top defensive talent. The window for the Wolverines to win a national title might never be better than it is right now."

Feldman isn't alone in his belief that this is Jim Harbaugh's best team yet. In fact, Harbaugh himself recently said that this is currently the best team he's had during his tenure in Ann Arbor.

“As we sit here April 1st, 2023, it’s gonna be the best team...it’s the best version of a Michigan football team on April 1st, 2023 that we’ve ever had,” Harbaugh said. “A great roster of players, tremendous coaches all pulling in the same direction. That doesn’t mean we’re not going to have a letdown as the months go on, but this is the best version of football that I’ve seen since I’ve been here the last eight years.”

"This is not the time to regroup or to rest, or to to take a step back. Now’s the time to attack."

Given all of the experience and talent that is returning to Michigan, it's no surprise that many are considering the Wolverines as one of the favorites to capture the national championship trophy in 2023.
