With the Michigan/Penn State game now less than two weeks away, kick time had to be announced and it's exactly what everyone thought it would be...

The Nittany Lions are now No. 10 in the AP poll and have really been impressive through five games. The game will give Jim Harbaugh and Michigan another chance to prove that they can beat a good team on the road.

Harbaugh has been under fire this year because of the bad loss to Wisconsin in Madison. He's also received criticism in the past because of the team's struggles against teams on the road at night.

Dating back to Harbaugh's first game as Michigan's head coach, night games on the road have been a problem. The tenure opener against Utah in Salt Lake City resulted in a 24-17 loss and gave Harbaugh an 0-1 start as U-M's head man. Minnesota later that year was also a tough evening for the Wolverines. The maize and blue got out of Minneapolis with a win, but it was just a three-point edge after a game ending goal-line stand.

In 2016 it was Iowa at night that gave U-M fits. An average Hawkeyes team handed Michigan its first loss of the season and essentially kept U-M away from Indianapolis and out of the college football playoff. The 14-13 loss was a result of an inept offense and a loss in the turnover column. Those two things will result in a loss for just about any team on the road.

More recently, Michigan dropped road night games at Penn State in 2017 and at Notre Dame last year. The contest against the Nittany Lions was over almost as soon as it started against a loaded team with Saquon Barkley and Chase McSorley, and the battle against the Irish last year was closer, but still resulted in a loss.

Harbaugh and his guys have a chance to change the narrative once again when they face the Nittany Lions in a massive showdown. Penn State is likely going to be undefeated still and looking to make a statement.

How will Michigan respond? What kind of chance do you give the Wolverines in that game? Comment below!!!
