LOOK: Ohio State gets brutal reminder during WWE Netflix special

No matter how much they succeed in the postseason, Ohio State just can't seem to escape the brutal loss to Michigan back on Nov. 30. Three weeks after the loss to the Wolverines, the Buckeyes took the field in Columbus to host the first ever playoff game at the Horseshoe against Tennessee. Although Ohio State cruised to an easy 42-17 victory, Buckeye fans were reminded of the Michigan loss on multiple occasions during ESPN's broadcast. Two weeks later against Oregon in the Rose Bowl, the Buckeyes once again cruised to a convincing 41-21 victory - and once again, Buckeye fans were frequently reminded of the loss to Michigan.

With Ohio State now preparing for a semifinal matchup against Texas in the Cotton Bowl, you would think that the chatter surrounding the brutal loss to Michigan would have died down a bit... but it hasn't. While the Buckeye faithful have convinced themselves that the loss to Michigan doesn't matter in the midst of a playoff run, the Maize and Blue faithful are fully committed to making sure they remind them of that loss as often as possible.

One of those reminders occurred on Monday night during the Netflix debut of WWE in Los Angeles, where a presumed Michigan fan can be seen holding a sign perfectly within view of the camera.

"1,864 days since OSU beat Michigan," the sign read.

It's just another example of why the Michigan vs. Ohio State rivalry is the greatest rivalry in all of sports, even if Buckeye fans are spending much of their time trying to claim 'The Game' doesn't mean much anymore. With the rivalry shifting back to Ann Arbor in 2025, the Wolverines have a great shot at extending that four game winning streak to five.
