Michigan will take the field against Iowa in Ann Arbor tomorrow as 3.5-point favorites. After a dominant performance against a bad Rutgers team, confidence is high inside Schembechler Hall and it has a chance to go even higher if U-M can put together another nice performance against the Hawkeyes. The Wolverines seem to have more talent on paper but Iowa is well coached, pesky, experienced at the right positions and especially talented at defensive end and offensive tackle. How will the game end up looking on the scoreboard? Here's what we think...

Brandon Brown

"Everything is telling me that Michigan should win this game but I still find myself being less than confident about what the Wolverines can do on offense. I think Josh Gattis being on the field is a great development but I want to see it against a good team. I think he'll be able to feel what's working and what's not, who should be in and who should be on the sideline and what Jim Harbaugh wants to do. If that all continues to come together, U-M should win. If not, and Michigan loses, it would create a bigger storm than the Wisconsin loss did."

Steve Deace

"I have no feel for this game because I have no feel for the 2019 Wolverines. There’s a lot on the line Saturday, for perhaps the immediate and long term future. So because I don’t want to give up on a promising season the first weekend of October, I’m going to openly make a homer pick and try to keep hope alive."

Michael Spath

"Does anyone really know what to expect from Michigan this weekend? Or even Iowa for that matter? I’ll give credit to my brother, who told me ‘We play better at home and there’s no way we’re as bad as we played at Wisconsin.’ Without any solid evidence to base analysis on, his explanation is as good as any. For now."
