Michigan is 4-1 (2-1) after a less-than-perfect 10-3 over a solid Iowa team. There are definitely still some questions surrounding Michigan, particularly on offense, but a win is a win. With five games in the books, here's WolverineDigest.com's Stock Report based on in-game performance.

Stock Report Iowa

Sophomore defensive end Aidan Hutchinson was awarded with Big Ten Player of the Week honors after a very strong performance against the Hawkeyes. Hutchinson recorded six tackles including 2.5 for loss and a sack in the defensive battle against Iowa. He's been as consistent as anyone on the entire roster and also has a couple of big plays under his belt in 2019.

Both of Michigan's starting cornerbacks are in the top ten and with good reason. Senior Lavert Hill and junior Ambry Thomas have been very good in coverage and both have two interceptions on the year. Thomas has also recovered two fumbles and always seems to be around the ball.

Redshirt freshman linebacker Cameron McGrone continues to ascend and is now sitting at No. 8 on our list. Against Iowa, the speedy backer racked up six tackles including 1.5 sacks. He also officially hurried the quarterback once but really chased Nate Stanley around a lot more than that.

Senior quarterback Shea Patterson, unfortunately, is heading in the other direction. Michigan's signal caller hasn't been very good this year and had one of his worst performances against the Hawkeyes. He went just 14 of 26 for 147 yards and an interception. He still gets happy feet too often and doesn't seem comfortable in Josh Gattis' system.

Freshman phenom Daxton Hill is showing more and more why he was the No. 1 safety in the country coming out of high school. The speedy DB recorded six tackles including one for loss and a pass breakup that led to Thomas' interception in just 20 plays.

Three of Michigan's five offensive linemen made the cut but none of them are inside the top 15. Senior Ben Bredeson, senior Jon Runyan Jr. and junior Cesar Ruiz check in at No. 18, 20 and 25 respectively, indicating that the O-line needs to crank it up a bit. The Wolverines were only able to grind out 120 yards rushing on 33 carries, which simply won't get it done against elite teams. Iowa is solid, they're not elite.
