Michigan Football In Top Group For The No. 1 Player In Texas
Michigan football recently added its third member to the 2025 recruiting class when defensive tackle Bobby Kanka committed to the Wolverines over Penn State, Michigan State, Tennessee, and others.
The maize and blue need to work extra hard on securing cornerback talent in the '25 cycle since Michigan has just one corner in the 2024 class -- as of now.
It doesn't get much bigger than 2025 five-star cornerback, Devin Sanchez.
Sanchez announced Michigan made his top 10 group. LSU, Alamaba, USC, Texas, Ohio State, Florida State, Oregon, Oklahoma, and Texas Tech join the Wolverines in the top group.
The 6-foot-2, lockdown corner hails from Houston (Texas) North Shore. According to the Composite, he is the seventh-ranked recruit in the class, the No. 2 corner, and the top-ranked recruit in the state of Texas.
Michigan may be behind the eight ball in the recruitment of Sanchez, but the Wolverines reached out and hit it off with the talented corner.
Sanchez told On3 "They (Michigan) came in late but hit it, and Coach Clink has one of the best corners in college right now in Will Johnson.”
