Blazing Fast Receiver Puts Michigan In Top Five
Beating up on Ohio State, winning the Big Ten and going to the College Football Playoff is certainly good for business and Michigan is proving that right now with the momentum and interest generated on the recruiting trail, especially in the 2024 cycle.
The Wolverines currently have the No. 3 class in the country in 2024 according to 247 Sports and they keep bringing more and more big time prospects to campus. Most of those visits have gone so well that just about every young man who has checked out Ann Arbor follows up with a top group that includes Michigan. Most recently, it was Burley (Idaho) High four-star wide receiver Gatlin Bair.
The 6-2, 180-pounder dropped his top group on Twitter and the Wolverines made the cut along with Nebraska, TCU, Boise State and Oregon.
Michigan offered Bair back in June of last year and when you do a little research about the young man, it's easy to understand why.
Bair is an elite athlete in every sense of the word. He currently possesses a blistering 10.18 time in the 100-meter dash.
He claims a 46-inch vertical at 195 pounds, which...legit.
And he's got phenomenal junior numbers to prove that the speed and athleticism translates to the football field.
Sure, he plays in Idaho, which some people will say makes his numbers a little less meaningful, but you cannot deny the athletic numbers. Plus, guess who else hails from Idaho. Stud sophomore tight end Colston Loveland. In fact, Bair is well aware of the Loveland family as evidenced by some of the content on his Twitter feed, which certainly bodes well for the Wolverines.
