Speed Demon Spurns Wolverines On Commitment Day

Michigan's 2024 recruiting class is still really solid, but the Wolverines have come up just a bit short several times recently and today it happened yet again.

Despite reportedly having a phenomenal official visit ripe with tons of photos in the winged helmet, Burley (Idaho) Senior High wide receiver Gatlin Bair committed to Boise State earlier today.

The 6-2, 195-pounder is literally the fastest high school football player in the country with a verified 10.18 in the 100-meter dash.

Bair, who recently took an official visit to Michigan and soon after posted several photos of himself in the winged helmet, chose the home state Broncos when it looked like U-M might have a real shot at landing him.

Unfortunately for Michigan fans, they won't get to see the speediest pass catcher in the nation streaking down the sidelines of The Big House. Instead, they'll have to catch him on TV late at night as he burns up the Smurf Turf out in Boise.
