Michigan Commits Create Incredible Pose Inside The Big House
Over the weekend, Michigan hosted several members of its 2024 class and a handful of targets as well. During the visit, once the prospects were all geared up in different combinations of the storied maize and blue uniform, 10 commits and one target decided to recreate a huddle at about the 10-yard line. The final result is something Michigan fans could end up seeing in the future.
In the huddle, the future Wolverines are listening to a play call from quarterback Jadyn Davis. Not surprisingly, it's a two-tight end set with No. 22 Brady Prieskorn and No. 14 Hogan Hansen on the ends of the group. You see five offensive linemen in the pic — Andrew Sprague peeking just ahead of Prieskorn, Luke Hamilton in the No. 55 jersey with the red hair, Jake Guarnera, a true center over Davis' left shoulder, Blake Frazier in the all maize uniform looking at the camera and Ben Roebuck in the all white No. 76. Right in front of Davis, licking his chops, is running back Jordan Marshall. Also looking at the camera in the white No. 7 jersey, is wide receiver Channing Goodwin. And last but certainly not least, is the only uncommitted prospect in the group — wide receiver Jordan Shipp, with the colorful cleats and tattoo on his right, lower leg.
Photoshoots during recruiting visits are certainly nothing new, but this approach is pretty unique. We've seen linemen pose together before to simulate what a starting unit might look like, but 11 of the "correct" players posing together to form a huddle is something that you don't see very often if ever. It's a really cool like, might be foreshadowing and certainly speaks to the closeness of Michigan's current 2024 group.
