Coveted Young Signal Caller Puts Michigan In Top 5

Michigan continues to acquit itself well on the recruiting trail across multiple cycles.
In this story:

Michigan is definitely going to be pursuing Belleville High School stud quarterback Bryce Underwood more aggressively than anyone else in the 2025 class, but that doesn’t mean the Wolverines will ignore other promising, young signal collars. One of those players giving Michigan a hard look at this point is Harrisburg (Penn.) Bishop McDevitt Stone Saunders. The 6-2, 195-pounder recently dropped a top five and the Wolverines made the cut.

Michigan will now battle Georgia, Kentucky, Nebraska and Miami for the rising junior’s services. Saunders seems to be highest on Kentucky and Nebraska after visiting both recently, but it’s obviously early in the process for him and there is still a season to be played.

Saunders isn’t the highest-rated quarterback in the class, but he has more than 25 offers, a solid top group and a lot of production to his name. As a young, varsity quarterback, he had throw for 6,620 yards and 100 touchdowns against just nine interceptions.
