Michigan Picks Up Massive Commitment

Michigan's big visit weekends are starting to pay off.

Michigan just did something it hasn't done in a long, long time. It landed a very talented, skill position player from the state of Ohio that Ohio State legitimately wanted.

Moments ago, Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller running back Jordan Marshall announced via social media that he has committed to the Wolverines.

The 5-11, 193-pounder announced a top four consisting of Michigan, Ohio State, Wisconsin and Tennessee in early-February, which had most people thinking he'd eventually be a Buckeye, because that's how it typically goes with Ohio kids. Instead, Marshall took some visits, including one to Ann Arbor this past weekend, and he's now a Wolverine.

Marshall is considered the No. 91 player in the country per the 247 Sports Composite. As a junior, Marshall was named Gatorade Player of the Year in Ohio after rushing for 1,951 yards and 30 touchdowns. He also caught 19 passes for 364 yards and another four touchdowns.
