Korie Lucious Decides on Iowa State

Spartan Nation was the media source that broke EXCLUSIVELY the story that Korie Lucious was transferring from MSU after being dismissed by Coach Izzo from the team. This morning we learned of his choice and just before 5 PM it was confirmed.

 

Shortly after we got confirmation and reported it at the official message board of Spartan Nation:Â The Phalanx Forum, Lucious Twittered his decision.

 

Spartan Nation has been vocal that we support and like Korie. Sadly numerous rumors and innuendo have been bantered about as to why Korie was dismissed. The foolishness we heard from people was so off base that frankly it was very sad.

 

He was dismissed. Coach Izzo absolutely made the right decision, but some of the outlandish claims were frankly disturbing and sadly off base.

 

Lucious is leaving now and although I do not like his choice for a new beginning to be occurring at Iowa State (for his own good) I wish him well and hope he has great success as part of the Cyclone Nation.
