Michigan State men's basketball's 2024 class has arrived on campus.

The program posted freshmen Kur Teng and Jesse McCulloch arriving on Michigan State's campus on social media on Wednesday. Freshman Jase Richardson posted his arrival on his Instagram story.

Richardson and Teng are ranked in the top 50 on most recruiting sites like On3 and 247Sports and are rated as four-star recruits. McCulloch is labeled as a three-star recruit on recruiting sites, other than ESPN, which has him rated a four-star and ranked 99th overall.

Richardson is a combo guard out of Las Vegas, Nevada, who transferred to Columbus High School his senior year. Most Spartan fans recognize his father, Jason, who is a Michigan State basketball legend who played under Coach Tom Izzo in the early 2000s. Jase Richardson is a player who is athletic and lets the game come to him, as he isn't a fast-paced type of player.

He is also a great wing scorer who can get to the rim while creating his own shot and playing great defense.

Teng attended Bradford Christian Academy in Massachusetts, where he finished his high school career. He is a fantastic shooter, whether it's a spot-up shot or off the dribble. Teng’s athleticism sets him apart on the court, allowing for dynamic plays and versatility on both ends of the game.

As a smooth scorer, he seamlessly blends finesse with athleticism, making him a consistent offensive threat. Teng’s ability to analyze the defense enables strategic attacks, exploiting weaknesses and creating scoring opportunities.

McCulloch is a 6-9 forward out of Ohio. He is a player who likely won't see much playing time but can definitely be an impactful player if he stays at Michigan State. Learning under Xavier Booker and Carson Cooper can only help his development.

These freshmen might not be contributors right away for Izzo and will need time to find their footing on the court. It should still be exciting for fans to see them arrive on campus as they transition into the early stages of their careers at Michigan State.
