Michigan State men's basketball coach Tom Izzo improved to 54-23 overall and 19-6 in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament when his Spartans defeated USC, 72-62, on Friday afternoon.
While MSU led the majority of the way, the game wasn't without its stressful moments for Izzo.
One such moment came with 11:30 left in the game after an offensive foul was called on Spartan senior Malik Hall. Izzo, and the majority of Michigan State's social media followers, believed USC's Boogie Ellis should have been called for a 'flop' on the play.
Instead, the ball went over to the Trojans. Izzo gave the officials a piece of his mind during the next media timeout, and then THIS happened:
