Former Spartan big man Matt Costello is not only a great person, but a terrific player. The young man came in to MSU with a Mr. Basketball trophy and parlayed that into a great career. He spent yesterday in Orlando, Florida working out for the NBA Magic. Last night just after 7PM he landed in Charlotte, NC where he is working out for the Hornets today.

Just another chance as the NBA draft approaches to show off his talent and skills. NBA teams love Costello's blue collar work ethic and the fact that he is coachable.

I caught up with the graduated Spartan last night and asked how he thought the workout went and the process leading up to the draft. He is having fun and working hard trying to reach his dream. Nobody expected anything less.
