Mel Tucker and the Michigan State Spartans football program were dealt a massive blow on Friday, April 30 when three returning starters — quarterback Payton Thorne, wide receiver Keon Coleman and cornerback Charles Brantley — entered the transfer portal on the final day of the spring window.
