WATCH: QB Aidan Chiles shows off his talent in freshman year at Oregon State
Transfer quarterback Aidan Chiles is quickly becoming a fan favorite at Michigan State despite not yet taking a single snap for the Green and White. The 18-year-old attended Michigan State's men's basketball game at the Breslin Center on Thursday, and the crowd chanted the name of their new signal-caller in the closing minutes of the Spartans' 76-66 victory over Minnesota.
It will be a long seven months before Spartan fans will get to see Chiles lined up against an opponent on the football field but, fortunately, the rising sophomore got a chance to showcase his abilities during his freshman season at Oregon State. In nine appearance for the Beavers in 2023, Chiles threw for 309 yards and four touchdowns while completing 24-of-35 pass attempts, without an interception. The freshman added 79 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns on 17 carries.
