Anticipation for Michigan State Football's season-opener against Central Michigan is reaching a fever pitch.

All throughout fall camp, the recurring theme we've heard from the Spartans' coaching staff has been the added depth at each position on Michigan State's roster. Head coach Mel Tucker called this the most talented team, top to bottom, that he's had during his tenure in East Lansing. We've heard similar sentiments from defensive coordinator Scottie Hazelton, offensive coordinator Jay Johnson, defensive line coach Diron Reynolds and many of the players.
