Michigan State Football hosted its spring game/open practice on Saturday, April 15 and there were a few players who stood out among the rest, including a challenger to incumbent starting quarterback Payton Thorne.
While Michigan State was missing several guys who are expected to be key contributors this season during the spring practice, there were a handful of defenders who looked impressive during scrimmage sessions.
