I just got off the phone moments ago with the new Spartan RB coach Brad Salem. The former MSU graduate assistant made it clear that he never lost his appreciation for mid-Michigan.

“This is such a great opportunity and I am ready to hit the ground running,” was how he described this new chapter in his life.

 

“My wife and I have great friends in the Lansing area still from16 years ago. We went back to see those friends this past summer. This really is like going back home,” was how Coach Salem described coming back.

 

He told me that he is, “Packing up my office tomorrow (Sunday), but I expect to be at work in three days. Probably early or mid week.”
