MHSAA Basketball - District Round Edition
The most exciting part of basketball season is here. The playoffs have been going all week and we can look back on it and see who is playing well and who is playing baseball. Let’s get right to it.
High Score of the Week
Westside Christian Academy 94 Sterling Heights Parkway Christian 86 (180 points) (3-6-15)
Leading the charge for Westside Christian was DeShawn Brocks. He scored 28 points and grabbed eight boards. Igli Pirgu chipped in 19 and nine rebounds. No stats could be found for Parkway Christian’s team.

Muskegon Heights Academy 115 Holland Black River 21 (94 points) (3-9-15)
This one got ugly. Seven players for MH scored in double digits. Deandre Wilson led with 19 points, seven rebounds, and five steals. Antwone Jones scored 18, grabbed ten rebounds, and stole five balls. Keyandre Collins scored 14, Anthony Gordon 12, Antonio Jones and Anthony Jones 11, Keishon Watson scored 10. The leading scorer for Black River was Nick Harmsen with seven points.
