Who's Next?

There are two candidates that could potentially be the 17th 2025 commit for Jonathan Smith and Co. The first is Orchard Lake St. Mary's offensive lineman Antonio Johnson. Three of Johnson's teammates -- linebacker DJ White, tight end Jayden Savoury, and wide receiver Bryson Williams -- have already committed to the Spartans. I've heard good things about the Spartans' chances with Johnson.

Edge rusher Emmanuel Nwaiwu could very well be the next commit, too. The international prospect has a Division I edge rusher's frame, 6-foot-4 and 250 pounds, and showed out at the Wayne State mega camp earlier this summer. The interest between Nwaiwu and the Spartans seems to be strong and mutual.
