Michigan State’s Top-10 Receiving Leaders of All-Time
When it comes to Michigan State football, people often think of the defenses and running backs that have passed through East Lansing over the years.
The Spartans have always been a physical team, it's how their head coaches have approached the game, but fans can't forget about the wide receivers MSU has produced.
From 2008-2011, B.J. Cunningham caught 218 passes for 3,086 yards and 25 touchdowns while averaging 14.2 yards per catch.
He is the only wideout in Michigan State history to eclipse the 3,000-yard marker – in that time, he accumulated the second-most receiving touchdowns the school has ever witnessed.
Andre Rison played four years at MSU finishing his career with 146 receptions, 2,992 yards, and 20 touchdowns with 20.5 yards per catch.
After he helped lead the Spartans to a Rose Bowl victory, Rison entered the 1989 NFL Draft and was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the first round with the 22nd overall pick.
