Guerad is a redshirt sophomore who earned first-team All-Conference USA honors after finishing with 38 tackles, seven tackles for loss and two sacks for the Panthers this season. Geurad has 84 total tackles, 41 solo tackles and five sacks in his three college seasons.

A former three-star recruit, Geurad chose the Gophers over Kansas State, South Carolina, Louisville and Massachussets. The Gophers are expected to return Deven Eastern next season but will also lose seniors Kyler Baugh, Logan Richter and Darnell Jefferies in the middle of the defensive line.

Minnesota also received a commitment from Bucknell cornerback Ethan Robinson, who had offers from Purdue, Syracuse, Arkansas, North Carolina State, Auburn, Cincinnati, Illinois, USC and West Virginia, among others.

Robinson, at 6-foot and 175 pounds, received an 86.6 coverage grade from Pro Football Focus, which ranks 10th in the FCS. Eight of his 25 pass break-ups in three seasons at Bucknell came this season en route to an All-Patriot League First Team selection.

Robinson should have an opportunity to start opposite of Justin Walley at cornerback in 2024.
