Michigan linebacker Brady Pretzlaff decommits from Gophers after Michigan State visit
Another day, another decommitment from the Gophers football team.
Gaylord, Mich., linebacker Brady Pretzlaff announced his decommitment from the University of Minnesota’s 2024 class on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday.
“After a lot of conversation with family and time spent in prayer, I have decided to decommit from the University of Minnesota. Want to thank the Minnesota coaches and fans for believing in me,” he said in his post.
Pretzlaff, a three-star prospect according to 247Sports, was recruited to Minnesota by former defensive coordinator Joe Rossi, who recently left the program and took the same job at Michigan State. Pretzlaff had visited the Spartans over the weekend.
“My official visit went very well this weekend,” Pretzlaff told 247Sports. “The campus is great and the new facilities are very nice. The opportunity to play for an in-state team that has a history of being very successful is something big.”
Pretzlaff also received an offer from Michigan a week ago.
