Just A Bulldog Minute: Mississippi State Women’s Basketball Can't Be Stopped
Mississippi State Women’s Basketball takes the number three conference ranking after an outstanding 76-57 win against Georgia last night.
After giving the other conference Bulldogs everything they had, the lady Mississippi State Bulldogs are gearing up to take on the Florida Gators in Humphrey Coliseum tomorrow.
As of now, Mississippi State is going 20-5 and 7-3 conference. With Florida and Ole Miss in their future, the outcome of these games will really highlight tournament consideration for the Bulldogs.
With players like point guard Lauren Park Lane and Caitlin Clark who average 2000-plus points and 800-plus assists, it’s hard for the Bulldogs to be stopped.
On Thursday alone, three Bulldogs hit double digits in baskets including: Jerkaila Jordan with 19 points, Jessika Carter with 18, Erynn Barnum with 18 points.
On top of this, Mississippi State had 27 assists on 33 made baskets, displaying the strong defense that the team has worked hard to create. Head Coach Sam Purcell has been extremely proud of his hard working team.
This Sunday, the lady Bulldogs will be back in action taking on Florida at 2 p.m. in Starkville, and with the momentum the team has going, the Bulldogs will need all the support they can get.
