Mississippi State Women's Golf: Julia Lopez Ramirez Ranked in Top 10 By Golfstat

NCAA individual rankings released this week put one of Mississippi State's very own in the top 10.

When Golfstat released its top individual rankings for women's gold, Mississippi State's Julia Lopez Ramirez found herself in the top 10 at No. 4 overall.

Being the first Bulldog to win a debut, it is an honor for Julia Lopez Ramirez to be ranked among the first five women in the NCAA Division 1 players.

As a sophomore in 2023, Ramirez has already broken numerous records and received a plethora of awards.

Here's a look at some of those that stand out the most:

Individual crown at 2022 Blessings Collegiate International

SEC Women's Golfer of The Week (2022-23)

SEC Golfer of The Week (2021-22)

Three crowns at the Westbrook Invitational (2021-22)

Having finished the 2022-23 season with a stroke average of 71.0, her three wins took the lead in the SEC freshmen women's golf with a 70.59 stroke average. She also broke three Bulldog records in her freshmen year.

Since Ramirez still has multiple seasons left to bring home gold for Mississippi State, her potential should only be expected to continue to grow and propel Mississippi State Women's Golf to a highly respectable ranking with her in the fold.
