- Two Mississippi State Football players participate in the Reese's Senior Bowl. That includes Nathaniel Watson and Jaden Crumedy who led the Bulldogs on defense this past season.
- Mississippi State Softball will be featured on eight nationally televised games in the spring on the SEC Network for conference games.
- In their last contest, Mississippi State Men's Basketball had its three-game win streak against Ole Miss snapped in the road loss. They still control the series at 149-120 against States most fierce rivals.
