- Former MSU guard Timmy Bowers will be celebrated as the program's SEC Basketball Legend during this year's SEC tournament in Nashville.
- Star freshman Josh Hubbard in his performance against No. 16 Kentucky, now holds the record for most 3-pointers made in a season for the Bulldogs at 83.
- Hunter Hines has shown his power over his first two seasons in the Maroon and White. He has hit 38 homers over that span. The 38 home runs are the third most by an active player in the SEC.
