Mississippi State Baseball Drops a 3-2 Decision to Austin Peay

The Bulldogs take on the Governors in their first mid-week game of the season.

STARKVILLE, Miss. — The Mississippi State Bulldogs drop their second game of the season 3-2 to Austin Peay at Dudy Noble Field. The Bulldog offense once again struggled as they racked up only four hits.

The MSU itching staff pitched well again, as five Bulldog hurlers combined for 13 strikeouts, zero walks, and three earned runs. It is a significant concern for MSU going forward on offense because MSU seemingly only gets runs via home runs.

MSU will be back in action at four p.m. CT for game two against Austin Peay.
