Mississippi State Baseball Takes the Rubber Match Against LSU 15-5
STARKVILLE, Miss. — The Mississippi State Bulldogs took the series from the number two-ranked LSU Tigers. It was an outstanding weekend for the Bulldogs, one they have not had since 2021.
Jurrangelo Cijntje drew the start for MSU, and he was solid as he allowed three runs in five innings of work. However, the Bulldog bats carried the day for MSU as they put up crooked numbers in the first, fifth, and sixth.
The Bulldogs did not just squeak by the Tigers either; they made a statement. In game one of three of the series, Mississippi State dominated the Tigers on the mound and at the plate.
