Cowbell Corner Courtside: No. 24 Alabama 99, Mississippi State 67

Cowbell Corner's Mathey Gibson and Joe Gaither break down the Bulldogs' ugly loss on the road.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — On Saturday, Mississippi State Basketball fell to No. 24 Alabama 99-67.

It was a rough performance for the Bulldogs, who sputtered to a 22-for-55 outing from the field.

The Crimson Tide have now won 10 of its last 11 games and holds a one-game lead in the Southeastern Conference standings, along with a tie-breaker over the second and third place South Carolina Gamecocks and Auburn Tigers.

Now standing at 14-8 and 3-6 in the SEC, Jans and his struggling squad will look to regroup with Mike White's Georgia Bulldogs coming to Humphrey Coliseum on Wednesday.
