Full Game Recap : Mississippi State Women's Basketball versus Georgia
The Mississippi State Bulldogs dominate then battle of the Bulldogs tonight in Starkville. MSU controlled the game from start to finish in this one as it was a complete team effort.
Three Bulldogs had over 15 points including Jerkaila Jordan, Erynn Barnum, and Jessika Carter. Jordan led all scorers with 19 points but also did damage on defense as the Louisiana native had four steals and four blocks.
The Bulldogs have now won five straight with another winnable game Sunday at home against Florida.

1st Quarter
MSU wins the tip and we are underway.
Each team trades buckets to start the game.
A lot of offense here early in the first. UGA leafs 5-4.
A nice pass by Jordan and Barnum gets her second bucket.
Barnum is continuing to play well after a season-high 22 points at Texas A&M. She is up to six points. The score is tied at 10.
Excellent ball movement by the Bulldogs there as Park-Lane hits the running floater.
Powe nails a three from the corner. MSU leads 17-12.
A nice pass by Rogers to a cutting Jordan, who finishes at the rim.
MSU is overwhelming Georgia here early on offense. MSU is 10-15 from the field, and they lead 21-12.
After a pair of slow starts, MSU has started this game fast on offense and defense. The maroon Bulldogs shot 11-17 in the first quarter with Jordan and Barnum both leading the way with eight points. MSU leads 23-19 after the opening quarter.
2nd Quarter
A nice shot by UGA out of the short corner has trimmed the MSU lead to two.
UGA has taken advantage of their quickness inside, but Carter uses muscle and finishes strong. MSU leads 27-25.
Rogers hits a wide-open three from the corner. She cannot be left open.
Multiple UGA offensive rebounds but finished the possession 0-3.
Barnum is up to ten points, and the crowd is loving it. MSU leads 34-25 going into the media break.
Georgia silences the crowd with a corner three.
It's another easy transition bucket for MSU as Carter scores.
MSU forces a wild three that went off the top of the backboard. MSU leads 36-28.
Carter with another short jumper, with her post presence and that shot she is tough to guard.
A solid performance for MSU during the first half as they shoot 18-34 from the field and hold UGA to 12-29. MSU leads 39-30 heading into halftime.
3rd Quarter
Jordan is fouled going up for a jumper, and she scores the first points of the second half.
A nice hook shot from Carter falls and she is up to ten points. MSU leads 43-34.
A nice blocked shot by Jordan leads to a UGA shot clock violation. Park-Lane gets another bucket for MSU.
Once again MSU forces a shot clock violation with suffocating defense. MSU leads 45-38 going into the media break.
Carter with another strong finish at the rim and she is up to 12 points.
Jordan is everywhere as she grabs a loose ball at the free throw line and turns around to nail a jumper.
Rogers is fouled and makes both free throws. MSU leads 53-43.
The crowd is alive here at Humphrey Coliseum. The Bulldogs are on a 12-5 run.
MSU finishes the third quarter 7-12 from the field, and has firm control of this game. MSU leads 57-43 going into the final quarter.
4th Quarter
Georgia started on a 3-0 run, but Barnum got her sixth bucket. She is up to 12 points.
A nice post seal by UGA leads to a bucket. MSU leads 60-50 heading to the media break.
Rogers steps on the line and the Bulldogs commit their 11th turnover.
Rogers hits another corner three. UGA will take a timeout with 5:45 remaining.

Carter grabs her 12th rebound, and she has a double-double with 14 points.
Barnum hits a three and she is up to 18 points.
MSU beginning to separate now as Carter is up to 16 points. MSU leads 72-54.
MSU dominates this game 76-57 and improves to 20-5 and 7-3 in SEC play.
