The Mississippi State Bulldogs are coming off a tough loss on the road at Ole Miss. The Bulldogs have two top-ten wins inside Humphrey Coliseum, but MSU is yet to win an SEC game on the road.

MSU will have another chance for a top-25 win, as Alabama is currently ranked 24th. The Bulldogs have struggled on the road all year, but if they want to stay off the NCAA tournament bubble, they need to break through sometime on the road.

Series: Alabama has dominated the series 134-78, with the first meeting occurring on February 6, 1913.

Last meeting: The Crimson Tide took the first matchup up earlier this season. Alabama won 82-74 in front of a sold-out Humphrey Coliseum.

Alabama’s Mark Sears led all scorers with 22 points. Free throws hampered the Bulldogs as they were 15-27 from the line.

Last time out, Crimson Tide: Alabama extended their winning streak to three after an 85-76 win at Georgia.

Last time out, Bulldogs: MSU suffered an 86-82 loss over their rival Ole Miss. Free throws once again cost the Bulldogs late as Cam Matthews missed both free throws with a chance to tie it late.

MSU was led by freshman Josh Hubbard, who scored 21 points.
