Mississippi State men's basketball looks to start the season strong in tournament play.

As the college basketball season approaches, tournament schedules are starting to be released. Mississippi State basketball will participate in the 2023 Hall of Fame Tip-Off, and they will face off against Northwestern, Rhode Island, and Washington State. 

The official TV channels and dates have been set as the Bulldogs look to start this hopeful season off strong.

These games will be played without standout Tolu Smith, who is returning for his final season of eligibility with the Bulldogs. Head coach Chris Jans and the team announced that he suffered a foot injury during practice and will to get him back in the fold when SEC play gets underway.
