Arkansas Offensive Coordinator Fired Following 7-3 Loss To Mississippi State

The Arkansas Razorbacks fired offensive coordinator Dan Enos after losing to the Bulldogs.

After a low-scoring game of defense this past Saturday in Fayetteville, the Mississippi State Bulldogs brought a 7-3 victory back to Starkville. Unfortunately, the loss cost Arkansas offensive coordinator Dan Enos his job.

It was announced by the Arkansas Razorbacks on Sunday that head coach Sam Pittman fired Enos effective immediately and replaced his position with Kenny Guiton for the remainder of the season.

Since the Razorbacks finished the game with no touchdowns, this failure on offense seemed to be the last straw for Pittman.

Eight weeks into the season, Arkansas remains without any conference wins, and with an overall record of 2-6. The offense has been rocky all season, so in their effort to take on Florida away after their bye-week, Guiton has a lot of work to do to fix what the offense has been unable to accomplish.

The Razorbacks enter an open date with plenty to think about before they are set to return to action on Nov. 4 at Florida. Then, they will finish out with three consecutive games at home beginning Nov. 11 against Auburn.
