Micah Parsons Slams Media For Treatment Of Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
As the season continues on, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has received mixed responses from fans and analysts alike for his performance.
His teammate, linebacker Micah Parsons, has had enough of the bashing and recently spoke out on it on his podcast, The Edge.
"I just don't condone the bashing of Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys and I have the same energy for the Eagles," Parsons said. "We want the same energy for everybody. Because there's a whole bunch of bashing when it's Dak Prescott, but not the same when it's the Eagles."
And that's obviously far from limited to just the team in Philadelphia.
"Acho said this, which pissed me off -- 'I'm not worried about the 49ers, they were missing Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel.' The Browns were missing Deshaun Watson, Nick Chubb," Parsons said. "They were missing them key factors before the game even started."
He explained how these teams were without key starters and took losses because of this, and went on to show that this seemed to be an excuse for other teams, but not for Dallas.
"So why is it that we we are just scrubs and we're nobodies that don't deserve to be on the field and we're just all talk. But there's a hundred excuses for these other -- these other teams?"
After finishing his heated point about the media's response to the Cowboys, he concluded his segment with telling listeners why he refused to speak to the reporters earlier in the week.
"If y'all just gonna hate Cowboys Nation, just say y'all hate Cowboys Nation. I'm tired of people trashing my quarterback, I'm tired of people trashing my team and that's why I had nothing to say to the media this week."
