Dak Prescott Among Those Set to Present at 2023 ACM Awards

Former Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott is among the names who will be presenting at the 2023 ACM Awards.

It may be the offseason for former Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott, but that doesn't mean the current Dallas Cowboys signal-caller has any shortage of involvement off the football field in the meantime.

This week, it was announced that Prescott would be presenting the first award at the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards with NFL all-time leading rusher, Emmitt Smith in the Ford Center.

It marks the first time a major awards show has been hosted in the building.

"I can't wait for people like Jerry Jones to walk in and say, 'How did you put all of this in this venue?'" executive producer Raj Kapoor said in a release. "It's a massive show. We are at capacity with the most gear that has ever been in here. I think it's really impressive and beautiful."

The two-hour event will include performances from well-known artists across the names like Jason Aldean, HARDY, Ed Sheeran, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Jo Dee Messina, Jelly Roll, Cole Swindell, Keith Urban, Morgan Wallen and the world premiere of Dolly Parton's newest single.

Those nominated for ACM Entertainer of the Year include Jason Aldean, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, Kane Brown, Morgan Wallen, HARDY and Lainey Wilson.
