Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones was named to the second annual Players' All-Pro Team on Wednesday. The former Mississippi State standout was named to the NFLPA's inaugural team last season, which is solely voted on by players around the league.

In 2023, Jones received enough votes en route to his fifth consecutive Pro Bowl selection and premier First Team All-Pro appearance. His 29 quarterback hits, 13 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks may be enough for him to be named a First Team All-Pro once again.

Jones played in Starkville, Miss. from 2013-15. In 38 games, he tallied 102 tackles, including 18 for loss, and 8.5 sacks.

The 37th pick of the 2016 NFL Draft has been a cornerstone to the Chiefs franchise, as he's helped lead Kansas City to two Super Bowl victories. Jones and former Mississippi State linebacker Willie Gay Jr. are in the playoffs once again, aiming to lead Kansas City to its third Lombardi Trophy in five years.
