Around The SEC: LSU Fans React To Lackluster First Quarter vs. Mizzou

LSU fans weren't pleased with the way the Tigers played through the first quarter of Saturday's matchup vs. Mizzou.

LSU football had plenty of hype surrounding it heading into the 2023 season, but the Tigers have only partially lived up to it.

It's been an interesting year in the SEC in which Georgia looks to be emerging as college football's next dynasty team, but outside of that, there doesn't look to be a true top dog in the SEC.

One of the most interesting parts of the shakeup has been then No. 21-ranked Missouri Tigers making one of the most impressive turnarounds in the SEC this season and LSU being ranked below them currently at No. 23.

Into the second quarter, Mizzou leads LSU, 15-7. Despite quarterback Jayden Daniels and the offense showing some flashes in this one, the defense has hardly held up its end of the bargain.

Such was the case when the Tigers lost a 55-49 thriller on the road to Ole Miss last week.

Fans and analysts alike have had plenty to say about LSU's performance up to this point as they've taken to social media:
