Mississippi State Football Announces Spring Practice Schedule For 2023
Mississippi State's football team announced the slate for its upcoming spring practice schedule this year in Starkville.
While specific start times have yet to be announced, Bulldogs fans can have an idea of what the practice window for the football team will look like this Spring.
Spring practice for the Bulldogs football squad kicks off in March, when the Bulldogs will host practice and scrimmages on March 7, 9, 21, 23, 25, 28, and 30.
They will continue into April with practice dates on April 1, 4, 6, 8, 11, and 13. The Spring football schedule will conclude on April 15, which will be the Bulldogs' annual Maroon-White Game held during Super Bulldog Weekend.
Bulldogs fans will get a chance to see an early look at the new football team under new head coach Zach Arnett, who took over as head football coach following the death of Mike Leach in December of 2022.
Under Arnett, fans can see freshly new systems being put in place under offensive coordinator Kevin Barbay and defensive coordinator Matt Brock, with a lot of expectation coming their way now that the team is moving away from Mike Leach's signature Air Raid system.
The location of each practice and scrimmage is expected to vary between the Bulldogs' practice fields and in Davis Wade Stadium, while potential weather threats could force the team to practice indoors within the Palmeiro Center, located on campus.
